چکیده

Toshiyuki Ozaki (尾 崎 俊 行) From the Department of Physiology, Nagasaki University School of Medicine, Nagasaki (Received for publication, March 1, 1955) In estimating adrenaline content of the adrenal medullary tissue or of the adrenal venous blood, various colour reactions have been applied, ad renaline being used as the reference standard. However, it is generally accepted that noradrenaline is contained besides adrenaline in the adrenal medulla or in the adrenal venous blood. In this connection it is of great interest to clarify the colorimetric activity of noradrenaline in various colour reactions.

Pressor action of noradrenaline in young dogs.

(Received for publication, January 3, 1958) The relative noradrenaline content of the adrenal gland in young animals was larger than that in adult ones.') Therefore, it is of interest to know whether the relative activities of noradrenaline to adrenaline in young animals differ from those in adult ones. In this view, the pressor action of noradrenaline was compared with that of adrenaline in yo...

بررسی تاثیر ریتم شبانه روزی بر ترشح آدرنالین و نور آدرنالین و ارتباط ان با میزان موبیلیزاسیون سلول های بنیادی CD34

Hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs), which have the ability to differentiate into various types of blood cell lines, are usually separate from the bone marrow. But these cells are also present in a small amount in the peripheral blood, and their amounts increase in blood following injection of G-CSF. However, the mechanism involved in moving HSCs under the influence of G-CSF is unknown. The aim of ...

Human muscle sympathetic activity and cardiac catecholamine spillover: no support for augmented sympathetic noradrenaline release by adrenaline co-transmission.

1. Evidence from animal studies indicates that circulating adrenaline may be taken up into sympathetic nerves, facilitating the release of noradrenaline. To test whether adrenaline acts as a co-transmitter in humans we studied eight healthy men (aged 19-23 years) during isometric handgrip before and after an adrenaline infusion (1-3 micrograms/min for > 30 min). Sympathetic activity was assesse...

Effects of chronic morphine treatment on catecholamines content and mechanical response in the rat hearts.

Our investigation was aimed at elucidating if the chronic administration and withdrawal of a preferential mu-agonist, morphine, induce changes on the heart catecholaminergic neuronal activity. With this purpose the effects of morphine or naloxone (preferentially mu-antagonist) on noradrenaline, adrenaline or dopamine (DA) content and the mechanical response of the left atria were studied in chr...

Increased plasma adrenaline concentrations in benign essential hypertension.

Plasma adrenaline, noradrenaline, and dopamine concentrations and plasma renin activity were measured in the supine position and after standing for 10 minutes in 14 patients with sustained benign essential hypertension and in five patients with labile hypertension. Results were compared with values obtained in 11 normotensive control subjects. In controls plasma noradrenaline concentrations inc...
